Redemptive Compassion is an 8-week study offering a biblical perspective on how the church is
called to holistically help people in need. Redemptive Compassion challenges many of the
traditional ways of addressing need through the following core principles:
1. Everyone has value … therefore,
2. We invest relationally in others
3. Everyone has capacity and potential
4. Mutual participation is required
5. We pray for wisdom and discernment
6. We serve in ways that transform
Because need will not change until we change how we address need. Rather than sustaining people in need, Love INC desires to help people reach their full potential in Christ.
This course is geared toward the Christian who wants to give to those in need more effectively, and for the Christian who is reluctant to give because of past experiences. Redemptive Compassion will cause its students to develop a thought process regarding giving – specifically, giving that transforms the lives of the helper and the one in need of help.
Redemptive Compassion provides training to help persons grow and mature in discipleship. The classes focus on building relationships, living out God’s will, and sharing your faith through engagement with individuals in need.
