"Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, make sthe body grow so that it builds itself up in love."  Ephesians 4:15-16

About Us!

The Deaconesses serve the church by offering spiritual care and support while helping meet the physical and emotional needs of the women in the congregation. They provide vision, guidance, and administrative oversight for the women’s ministries of the church, working closely with the Women’s Ministry Chair of each committee to advise, plan, encourage, and pray.

Deaconesses support the ministry of the Elders and pastoral staff, particularly in matters related to the care and needs of women within the church. They work in partnership with the Elders and pastors to pursue the shared mission and direction of the church.

Responsibilities may include assisting pastors with baptismal arrangements when requested, meeting monthly for prayer and ministry oversight, and representing women’s ministries at Welcome Receptions and Ministry Fairs. Deaconesses also help connect with newcomers, offering a warm welcome and beginning relationships that help them feel at home within the church family.

The Deaconesses serve under the leadership and authority of the Elders.
