Anchored Youth Group meets every Wednesday night at the church from 6:45-8:30 pm and is open to all students in grades 6-12. Each night consists of games, snacks, an applicable and challenging lesson from God’s word, and small groups divided by age. Throughout the year, we have many different fun events, retreats, and group outings.
Our last regular youth group meeting for the school year will be on Wednesday, May 20. For this night we will be doing a fun end of the year outing and going to Play Mini Golf! We will meet earlier than normal-at 6:00-so we can get up to Mulligans in Harrisonburg for mini golf. After mini golf, we will stop at Klines for Ice Cream and plan to return back to the church around 9pm. Cost is $8 for the mini golf and then whatever you want to spend for ice cream!
Starting on June 3 we will meet every other week for youth group during the summer. I would like to have summer youth group times at people's houses. I am looking for families who would be willing to host. The dates that I need hosts for are June 17, July 22, and August 5. Would your family be interested in hosting on one of these dates? If so, let me know!!
